Bulk Material Unloading
ISKAR mobile ship loaders are reliable and efficient mobile units that travel on rubber wheels and feature a jacking system for positioning on specially designed load-bearing panels. The load-equalizing framework ensures structural safety, long service life, and safe, continuous ship loading operations.
The extended dust shroud above the truck unloading apron feeder creates a sheltered area for unloading trucks. The flexible shroud protects the material from wind and external influences as it is conveyed into the loading boom. Dust extraction filters can be positioned at material transfer points. These filters create negative pressure inside the hopper, keeping the product and dust contained while removing dust from the extracted air. The reverse-jet filter system collects dust from the extracted air in reusable filter bags and periodically pulses compressed air through the filters to release the collected dust back into the product. The air extraction rate and filter cleaning pulse can be adjusted to optimize power and compressed-air consumption.
Configuration
Dustless Bulk Material Loading From Trucks To Ship
Bulk material handling operations can generate significant amounts of dust, affecting port areas and their surroundings. Whether handling coal, grain, iron ore, or chemical powders, particle sizes can range from 1 µm to 50 mm, creating health risks and environmental pollution.
To prevent the generation and spread of dust during vessel loading operations, ISKAR has engineered and developed a mobile ship loader equipped with a dust-suppressing telescopic loading chute, enclosed conveyors, high-capacity bag filters, and a truck unloading apron, providing a complete dustless loading solution from shore to ship.
Extended Dust Shroud
Sheltered volume for unloading trucks, wind and weather protection
Enclosed Conveyor Line
Complete enclosure of conveyor from apron feeder through loading boom
Telescopic Loading Chute
Dustless material delivery into vessel hold with telescopic cascade system
Dust extraction filters can be positioned on material transfer points. These filters create a negative pressure in the hopper at a significant rate. This keeps the product and dust inside the hopper structure while removing the dust from the air being extracted.
The reverse-jet filter system collects dust from the extracted air in reusable filter bags, then periodically pulses compressed air through the filters to release the collected dust and return it to the product. The rate of air extraction and the filter cleaning pulse can be adjusted to economize on power and compressed air.
With its headquarters located in Istanbul, Turkey, ISKAR provides design, engineering and turnkey delivery of material handling systems worldwide.
