ISKAR presents fixed pedestal type slewing jib cranes as a cost-effective solution for jetties, dolphins and floating docks with narrow decks.

The fixed pedestal type design is a cost-effective solution where the missing traveling motion is compensated by a longer lattice jib and increased number of cranes on the dock. The low maintenance type electro-hydraulic power pack significantly reduces the investment cost per crane allowing to allocate more cranes on a single dock, which allows the shipyard to conduct simultaneously more operations on all over the dock.

1200 tph loading and 2 x 300 tph unloading capacity combi shiploader- unloader crane at Mersin Port on TMO Jetty was damaged due to an accident on June 17.

Bulk unloading jib 01 and related machinery, including suction tubes, vertical and horizontal machinery with all accessories were new built and erected on to the crane. Complete new gangway ladder with self-leveling steps was new built and mounted on to the crane. All lifting and luffing cables for the remaining 2 nos jibs and all safety switches were replaced and commissioned by ISKAR.
